Western Black Bear Workshop – Speaker Event

WBBW Talk Final

The 12th Western Black Bear Workshop is being hosted by Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development and the Alberta Conservation Association in the beautiful Canadian Rockies of Canmore, Alberta. Professionals in the field of bear management will be sharing their research, and although the workshops are only open to event participants, Alberta ESRD has worked in cooperation with WildSmart to put on a talk to benefit our local community!

Dr. Chris Servheen has spent over 34 years working on Grizzly Bear Recovery in the United States.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the challenges and successes of that experience and how it relates to the current Threatened population of grizzly bears in Alberta.

This talk is free to attend, though donations towards the WildSmart Community Program are appreciated!

We look forward to seeing you at this event!
