“Sharing Trails with Grizzlies: An Evening of Research and Making a Difference for Alberta’s Bears”

 

Canadian Parks And Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is hosting an evening here in Canmore about bears! Wildlife biologist Sarah Elmeligi and her research team will be presenting their results regarding bear habitats and associated human risk on the trails, along with an open discussion of the public’s perception of bears. Elmeligi is originally from Australia and is both completing her PhD and running volunteer programs in Southern Alberta. Be sure to check out the presentation!
