WildSmart Speaker Series

December 2015 Speaker Series Stories FINAL

Join us as local professionals and volunteers share some of their unique wildlife stories about the work they do here in the Bow Valley. Speakers will have 10-15 minutes to share personal insights about the intersection of wildlife and the fields of human-wildlife conflict management, citizen science research, and volunteering in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Speakers include (in no particular order):

  • Tyler McClure: WildSmart Education and Outreach
  • Vicki Perkins: Alberta Parks Environmental Education
  • Tangle Caron: Alberta Parks Interpretation
  • Derek Ryder: Public Volunteer
  • Gian-Duri Giger: Public Volunteer
  • Simon Ham: Parks Canada Resource Management
  • Jacob Speckeen: Outdoor Council of Canada Instructor

The talk is free, but donations are welcome and needed to continue the Speaker Series.

We hope to see you there!

Special thanks goes out to our events sponsors,

Lafarge Canada and the Rotary Club of Canmore,

for their generous support of this program!
