Bear Spray becomes the norm in Canmore & Kananaskis Country

Runners & bikers take carrying bear spray seriously this summer

24 hrs-3

Some of the events being held at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park this year will require riders and runners to carry bear spray.  Many of the organizers and recreationists in the area have taken it upon themselves to embrace the new bear spray policy by sharing the news and educating their audiences.

We were so impressed; we wanted to share their communications with you.
