Bear Activity: September 20 to September 26, 2013

Reports of bears in the Bow Valley continue to be few. There were two reports of black bears: one in the Bow Valley Provincial Park Zone and one in the Exshaw Zone. No reports of grizzly bears were received. Bear Activity: September 13 to September 19, 2013

Reports of bears in the Bow Valley continue to be few. A black bear and cubs was reported in the Quarry/Grassi Lake Zone and a grizzly bear was reported in the Gap Hill Zone. Bear Activity: August 30 to September 5, 2013

Black bear activity during the past week has been reported at the YMCA and Gap Hill Zones. Grizzly bear sightings were reported from the Canmore Nordic Centre, Heart Creek, and Alpine Club zones.
